About this session
Time blindness is a common ADHD experience where time can feel slippery, inconsistent, or difficult to judge. Minutes can disappear without notice, deadlines can seem far away until they suddenly become urgent, and estimating how long tasks will take can be surprisingly hard. This session will explore why ADHD affects our sense of time, how it impacts daily life, and practical strategies to work with time rather than constantly feeling chased by it.
Penny Kennedy is a certified ADHD Coach. Penny was inspired to train as an ADHD coach following the diagnosis of her two adult children and husband. Being part of this family has given her an acute awareness and insight into the enormous challenges that ADHD can present. But also, how much better life can be for those with ADHD, given the right treatment. With a background in Music Therapy and Special Needs teaching, it was natural for Penny to seek training in the best way to help them. You can find Penny here: www.advanceadhd.com
We receive no government funds. Fundraising is extremely difficult because of the economic climate and because of the discrimination and stigma that means many can’t be out and ask for fundraising sponsorship. That means any donation you give is extremely valued and is the only way we can do the work we do.
This session is free, but please donate if you can. Donations are gratefully received, and we suggest £5.
If you are not in a position to donate then we still want to welcome you and have you attend. Choose Can't pay at the moment? on this page to book a free place.
