AuDHD: Understanding the Overlap with Penny Kennedy

AuDHD refers to the experience of being both autistic and having ADHD. While the two can complement each other, they can also create unique challenges, with traits sometimes pulling in opposite directions, such as craving novelty but needing routine, or seeking stimulation while becoming easily overwhelmed. This session will explore what AuDHD is, how the combination can affect daily life, and how understanding these differences can help us work with our brains rather than against them.

Penny Kennedy is a certified ADHD Coach. Penny was inspired to train as an ADHD coach following the diagnosis of her two adult children and husband. Being part of this family has given her an acute awareness and insight into the enormous challenges that ADHD can present. But also, how much better life can be for those with ADHD, given the right treatment.
