About this session
ADHD in women is frequently misunderstood and misdiagnosed, often mistaken for anxiety, depression or simply "not coping." Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can further impact ADHD symptoms, making this an especially challenging time.
Sarah West, certified ADHD coach, explores why ADHD in women is so often overlooked, how hormones influence ADHD and the practical steps for assessment and diagnosis.
Sarah will also share insights following her own diagnosis and how ADHD coaching can help navigate these challenges.
We receive no government funds. Fundraising is extremely difficult because of the economic climate and because of the discrimination and stigma that means many can’t be out and ask for fundraising sponsorship. That means any donation you give is extremely valued and is the only way we can do the work we do.
This session is free, but please donate if you can. Donations are gratefully received, and we suggest £5.
If you are not in a position to donate then we still want to welcome you and have you attend. Choose Can't pay at the moment? on this page to book a free place.
