Being both LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent comes with unique challenges, and it’s not always easy to untangle where those challenges come from. Many of us have been led to believe that our struggles are rooted in our sexuality or gender identity, when in fact, ADHD often plays a significant role in how we think, feel, and interact with the world. This group offers a space to explore those intersections in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
Our monthly online support group is a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ people with ADHD to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. We recognise that everyone is at a different stage in their journey, and we encourage open conversations that foster understanding and self-acceptance.
Please be aware that we may cover some delicate areas of conversation—we ask you to be mindful of your own capacity when choosing to join us.

Hosted by:

Kathleen Helm (they/them) is a neurodiversity trainer, coach and speaker and a late-diagnosed Autistic ADHD-er. They identify as disabled, working class, queer, non-binary, pansexual and demisexual. Kathleen is completing their ICF-accredited coaching training with GoldMind Academy (completing July 2025) and is a Mental Health First Aider. Kathleen is also an ADHD UK Ambassador.
Paul Fretwell (he/him) is a late-life diagnosed ADHDer, a creative musician and performer, formally a university lecturer, and now a neurodiversity coach and consultant. Like many gay men, he grew up in a place where being himself wasn’t an option. Moving to London changed all that – and over the past three decades he has experienced many of the challenges and opportunities faced by the gay community. He is an accredited ADHD Life Coach and Mental Health First Aider.

We receive no government funds. Fundraising is extremely difficult because of the economic climate and because of the discrimination and stigma that means many can’t be out and ask for fundraising sponsorship. That means any donation you give is extremely valued and is the only way we can do the work we do.

We ask for a donation regardless of size. Even 1p. With a suggested donation of £5.

If you are not in a position to donate then we still want to welcome you and have you attend. Simply put in the suggested donation and place the tickets in your basket, generate your coupon here, and use the coupon to 100% discount the basket.
