SUMMARY:Decision Paralysis and ADHD Monday with Penny Kennedy
DESCRIPTION:Decision paralysis is that frustrating feeling of knowing you need or want to do something\, but becoming overwhelmed by choices\, competing priorities\, or the fear of getting it wrong. For many people with ADHD\, even simple decisions can feel exhausting\, leading to procrastination\, avoidance\, or getting stuck. This session will explore why this happens\, how ADHD affects decision-making\, and practical ways to make choices with less stress and more confidence. \nPenny Kennedy is a certified ADHD Coach. Penny was inspired to train as an ADHD coach following the diagnosis of her two adult children and husband. Being part of this family has given her an acute awareness and insight into the enormous challenges that ADHD can present. But also\, how much better life can be for those with ADHD\, given the right treatment. With a background in Music Therapy and Special Needs teaching\, it was natural for Penny to seek training in the best way to help them. You can find Penny here: www.advanceadhd.com \nWe receive no government funds. Fundraising is extremely difficult because of the economic climate and because of the discrimination and stigma that means many can’t be out and ask for fundraising sponsorship. That means any donation you give is extremely valued and is the only way we can do the work we do. \nWe ask for a donation regardless of size. Even 1p. With a suggested donation of £5.\n \nIf you are not in a position to donate then we still want to welcome you and have you attend. Simply put in the suggested donation and place the tickets in your basket\, generate your coupon here\, and use the coupon to 100% discount the basket.

SUMMARY:AuDHD: Understanding the Overlap with Penny Kennedy
DESCRIPTION:AuDHD refers to the experience of being both autistic and having ADHD. While the two can complement each other\, they can also create unique challenges\, with traits sometimes pulling in opposite directions\, such as craving novelty but needing routine\, or seeking stimulation while becoming easily overwhelmed. This session will explore what AuDHD is\, how the combination can affect daily life\, and how understanding these differences can help us work with our brains rather than against them. \nPenny Kennedy is a certified ADHD Coach. SUMMARY:Time Blindness: Understanding Time and ADHD with Penny Kennedy
DESCRIPTION:Time blindness is a common ADHD experience where time can feel slippery\, inconsistent\, or difficult to judge. Minutes can disappear without notice\, deadlines can seem far away until they suddenly become urgent\, and estimating how long tasks will take can be surprisingly hard. This session will explore why ADHD affects our sense of time\, how it impacts daily life\, and practical strategies to work with time rather than constantly feeling chased by it. \nPenny Kennedy is a certified ADHD Coach. Penny was inspired to train as an ADHD coach following the diagnosis of her two adult children and husband. Being part of this family has given her an acute awareness and insight into the enormous challenges that ADHD can present.
