SUMMARY:Educators Support Group with Chris Benson
DESCRIPTION:A monthly Q&A and reflection forum for teachers\, SENCos\, TAs and leaders working with neurodivergent pupils. \nHosted by Chris Benson — ADHD specialist and school leader from 2007–2025 — this session provides professional dialogue\, perspective and confidence-building rather than training delivery. \nAn opportunity to explore dilemmas\, ask questions and think alongside someone who understands today’s school realities. \nWe receive no government funds. Fundraising is extremely difficult because of the economic climate and because of the discrimination and stigma that means many can’t be out and ask for fundraising sponsorship. That means any donation you give is extremely valued and is the only way we can do the work we do. \nWe ask for a donation regardless of size. Even 1p. With a suggested donation of £5.\n \nIf you are not in a position to donate then we still want to welcome you and have you attend. Simply put in the suggested donation and place the tickets in your basket\, generate your coupon here\, and use the coupon to 100% discount the basket.

SUMMARY:What Happens Next? Navigating ADHD Assessment\, Medication and Beyond with Baiyina Sparrow
DESCRIPTION:For many people\, an ADHD diagnosis raises as many questions as it answers. This 60-minute session\, delivered by a Registered Mental Health Nurse and accredited ADHD Coach with lived AuDHD experience\, walks through what actually happens next. \nWe’ll cover the assessment pathway (NHS\, Right to Choose\, and private routes)\, what to expect during the process itself\, how the medication and titration process typically works\, and practical strategies for managing symptoms during the waiting period. We’ll also look at non-medical approaches with a genuine evidence base\, such as coaching\, movement\, nutrition and routine\, and how these can work alongside medication rather than instead of it. \nThe session combines a short presentation with an open Q&A\, giving attendees space to ask the questions they haven’t had answered elsewhere. This session is educational and doesn’t replace individual clinical assessment or medical advice; it’s designed to help people feel more informed and prepared. SUMMARY:Guided ADHD-Aware Mindfulness Meditation with Carolyn Pallon
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an hour guided meditation run by Carolyn Pallon Mindfulness teacher and Clinical Psychologist who has taught Mindfulness for many years in the NHS and beyond. A chance to learn how our minds work\, how even the worlds most revered meditators don’t stop ‘thoughts’\, but learn ways to tune into something more reliable and trustworthy beneath them. \nCarolyn has a late ADHD discovery herself and knows first hand the added stress and exhaustion that can come from trying to fit into an environment that doesn’t suit. The added pressure and often accompanying years of negative comments that those with ADHD experience can lead to higher stress levels\, and lower self esteem. Listening to a guided deep rest mediation can be invaluable for our self care as well as a compassionate way to bring some much needed ease to our often over stimulated nervous systems. \nJust join\, listen\, rest\, reset. Nothing else required. \nDue to the session beginning promptly\, and to maintain a calm and uninterrupted environment for all attendees\, entry will not be permitted after 10:10. SUMMARY:Decision Paralysis and ADHD Monday with Penny Kennedy
DESCRIPTION:Decision paralysis is that frustrating feeling of knowing you need or want to do something\, but becoming overwhelmed by choices\, competing priorities\, or the fear of getting it wrong. For many people with ADHD\, even simple decisions can feel exhausting\, leading to procrastination\, avoidance\, or getting stuck. This session will explore why this happens\, how ADHD affects decision-making\, and practical ways to make choices with less stress and more confidence. \nPenny Kennedy is a certified ADHD Coach. Penny was inspired to train as an ADHD coach following the diagnosis of her two adult children and husband. Being part of this family has given her an acute awareness and insight into the enormous challenges that ADHD can present. But also\, how much better life can be for those with ADHD\, given the right treatment. With a background in Music Therapy and Special Needs teaching\, it was natural for Penny to seek training in the best way to help them. You can find Penny here: www.advanceadhd.com \nWe receive no government funds.

SUMMARY:ADHD & Recovery from Burnout with Kaye Heyes
DESCRIPTION:Join ADHD coach and facilitator Kaye Heyes for a monthly 60-minute group exploring what recovery and renewal can look like for ADHD minds and bodies. \nAlthough burnout is a common experience for people with ADHD and/or austism\, it’s not well understood. Neurodivergent burnout takes so much more than rest to fix. It encompasses sensory overwhelm\, emotional numbness\, decision fatigue\, and losing touch with motivation and confidence. \nKaye’s group offers understanding\, connection\, and hope and she facilitates a space to gently recover your energy\, agency\, and self-trust. Because burnout isn’t just about rest\, it’s about how we relate to ourselves as we rebuild. We need community to heal and recover. \nEach month\, we’ll explore a different theme from Kaye’s WayPower framework for sustainable wellbeing. WayPower helps you move beyond “willpower” to find practical\, compassionate ways to navigate life with ADHD/AuDHD. It brings together neuroscience\, somatic awareness\, and positive psychology to support recovery that lasts. \nSessions will combine gentle education\, guided reflection\, body-based awareness\, and peer conversation. You’ll learn to notice your natural rhythms\, respond to your nervous system\, and reconnect with the sources of energy\, purpose\, and creativity that make life feel rich again. \nAbout Kaye Heyes\nKaye Heyes is an AuDHD coach\, supervisor\, facilitator\, positive psychology practitioner\, master NLP practitioner and certified Focusing practitioner. She specialises in helping late-diagnosed adults recover their sense of agency and self-trust by blending neuroscience\, embodiment\, and strengths-based coaching. As a single parent to two neurodivergent teens\, she brings lived experience\, warmth\, and authenticity to her work. She knows that burnout recovery is not about bouncing back with willpower\, but coming home to yourself with WayPower.
